Van Traa Advocaten N.V. cares about protecting your privacy. Personal information obtained through this website will be processed in accordance with the applicable privacy rules and will solely be used in the manner described in this statement.

Your personal data can be used for the following purposes: 

  • to send you newsletters and invitations to seminars and events
  • to improve our website
  • job application procedures

Sending newsletters

Via our website we share our legal knowledge and expertise through newsletters, blogs or invitations to knowledge events. We are able to process your personal data because you use our services. You provide us with the data by filling out the contact form or by signing up for our newsletter, with which you give consent to the processing of your data in the manner described in this statement. We ensure that the personal information you provide us with is treated confidentially. When you fill in the contact form, your data is stored in the content management system (CMS) of our website and is sent by email to info@vantraa.nl. Your data is then entered into our relationship management system from which the newsletters are sent. Both the email database and the CMS environment of our website are cleaned up at least once every two months. So after termination your data will be kept in these systems for a maximum period of two months. If you have provided your email address for receiving the newsletter, it will be kept for as long as your registration is active (you can terminate this yourself through our website or by sending an email to info@vantraa.nl).

Improving our website

To register visits to the Van Traa Advocaten’s website, we track anonymous visitor statistics for which we use Google Analytics. The information collected in this way can not be traced back to a person and does not contain personal data. All IP addresses are anonymized. Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is legally obliged to do so, or insofar as these third parties process the information on behalf of Google. We have no influence on this. We have not allowed Google to share the information obtained.

Job application procedures

Application data obtained through the website is stored in the CMS environment of our website and forwarded by email to the email address of the person responsible for the applications. Your data is stored in our document management system (DMS) in a file that is only accessible to the person who is directly involved with and responsible for your application. Your data will only be used during the application procedure. After completion of the procedure, the information will be destroyed within two months at the latest.

We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against loss and/or any form of unlawful processing. All information is treated confidentially and stored on secure servers.

You have the right to request access to your personal data and/or to correct, supplement, delete or block it. You can address such a request to info@vantraa.nl.
