Karam Aboutok

Karam has been working at Van Traa since July 2026. He is a member of the International Trade & Commodities and Transport & Logistics sector teams.

Karam studied Dutch law at Erasmus University Rotterdam. He subsequently completed a Master’s in International Trade Law and a Master’s in Corporate Law at the same university. During his studies, Karam worked, amongst other things, as a research assistant at the Erasmus School of Law and was a member of the Faculty of Law Council.

Karam has also gained legal experience at various law firms and an investment company. In February 2026, he undertook an internship at Van Traa, where he was introduced to the international trade and transport practice. Karam is a member of the Rotterdam Young Bar Association.
