Willemijn Putz

Willemijn focuses primarily on port and trade practice. Her specialty is maritime (transport) law. She handles amongst others traditional maritime cases such as nautical incidents, cargo damages and charter disputes as well as commercial disputes.

Willemijn has been working at Van Traa since 2022. Prior to that, she worked as a lawyer at a law firm with maritime signature and as a claims handler at an international insurance broker in Rotterdam. Her predilection for the maritime sector originated at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. There, Willemijn successfully completed the English-language master's program in Maritime & Transport Law in 2015.

Willemijn is a member of the Dutch Transport Law Association (NVV) and the Association Internationale des Jeunes Avocats (AIJA).
