Julie van Pelt

Since the end of 2019 Julie has been working with Van Traa. She mainly deals with cases relating to aviation law.

Julie completed the master in Private law in 2019 at the Erasmus University Rotterdam, whereby she focussed on international private law. Julie wrote her thesis on the establishment of the height of the reward due to the salvor following maritime salvage. Julie became interested in transport law during her studies in Portugal, where she followed the courses Aviation Law and International Law of the Sea with the University of Lisboa. Since then, Julie has further applied herself to transport law by interning and obtaining working experience with various law firms specialised in transport law.
