ICC NVOCC Register

On 15 January 2019, the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) International Maritime Bureau (IMB) launched its Non-Vessel Owning Common Carriers (NVOCC) Register and Code of Conduct. NVOCCs can sign up and thereby assume compliance with the Code of Conduct for the issuance of bills of lading, including the requirement to keep records of back-up documentation.
The purpose of the NVOCC Register is to improve anti-fraud standards and provide a mechanism to recognise participating NVOCCs who adhere to a minimum standard of anti-fraud measures in their operations. Further details can be found on: https://www.icc-ccs.org/icc_2527/nvocc-register
